First Communion and Confirmation Prepartion Schedule

There have been a number of parents who have requested sacramental preparation for the Sacraments of First Communion (gr 2 or7 years or older) and Confirmation (gr 6 or 11years or older) for their children.

There will be preparation session on Wednesdays from 3:30PM to 5PM on the following Wednesdays in the Church meeting room.

  • Session 4 - Apr 17
  • Session 5 -May 1
  • Session 1 – Mar 6
  • Session 2 – Mar 20

  • Session 4 - Apr 24
  • Session 5 - May 8

 

The dates for the Sacraments are:

  • First Communion Sat. May 4, 2024 at 2PM at IC
  • Confirmation     Sun. May 19 @2P at Sacred Heart this will be a city-wide celebration.

Proof of baptism is required.

There is a Registration Form available in the foyer or online. Please fill in and submit to the parish office.

CHILDREN'S LITURGY of THE WORD
 

We would like to offer Children's liturgy to pre-school children at the 9:00AM Mass for and children ages 5 and up.at the 11:00AM Mass.

Volunteers are required for this ministry. Training is provided. Please contact the Parish Office at 250-964-4898.

RCIA – Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

Are you or anyone you know interested in the Catholic Faith?

The RCIA is a journey of faith for; Unbaptised Adults, Baptised Adults from another Christian Faith, and Baptised Adults from the Catholic Christian Faith who have not received their First Holy Communion and/or Confirmation.
