CHILDREN'S LITURGY

We offer Children's Liturgy for children ages 3 and up at the 11 am Mass. There is no registration required for this liturgy. There is no Children's Liturgy during July & August.  We need more people to help out with this Ministry. Training will be provided. Please contact the Parish Office at 250-364-4898.

Sacraments for Children

Children who are not registered in a Catholic School and wish to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Holy Communion (Grade 2) & Confirmation (Grade 6). The city wide Family Faith Formation, at St. Mary’s, begins on Sunday, Sept. 22nd at 2:30 pm. Registration fee is $32/child and registration takes place on the first Sunday. RCIA – Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

Are you or anyone you know interested in the Catholic Faith? The RCIA is a journey of faith for Unbaptised Adults, Baptised Adults from another Christian Faith, and Baptised Adults from the Catholic Christian Faith who have not received their First Holy Communion and/or Confirmation. St. Mary’s will be hosting RCIA sessions on Thursday evenings from 7 pm – 8:30 pm starting on October 10th in the St. Mary’s Eugene Room. Those who belong or wish to belong to Immaculate Conception Church need to contact Fr. Chris at 250-964-4898 or clynch@pgdiocese.ca.

Sacraments of Reconciliation & Holy Communion

In this parish we are planning the Sacrament of Reconciliation (First Confession) on Tuesday February 18th, 2020 at 6.30pm in the Church.

There will be a meeting and registration prior to the celebration for parents on Tuesday, February 4th at 6.30pm in the Church Meeting Room.

We are also planning on celebrating First Holy Communion on Saturday, May 2nd 2020 at 2pm  -  note Saturday!

There will also be a meeting for parents before the celebration of First Holy Communion on Tuesday, April 21st at 6.30pm in the Church.

 

Sacrament of Confirmation (Grade 6)

The Sacrament of Confirmation for Immaculate Conception parishioners, who are already registered for this Sacrament in the parish, will be celebrared by Bishop Jensen on Sunday, May 31st, Feast of Pentecost at 2 pm at Sacred Heart Cathedral.
